Jennifer Aniston, who played the role of Rachel, has always been very careful about her appearance. She pays special attention to how she eats and exercises regularly, so she maintains a slim figure despite the passing years. So it’s no wonder that when Courteney Cox provided Jennifer Aniston’s salad recipe, this one became very popular in no time. On TikTok you can find many videos showing how to prepare step-by-step the salad from the “Friends” set.

Jennifer Aniston salad – ingredients

The salad that Jennifer Aniston brought to the set to treat the other members of the cast with it is delicious and, most importantly, simple! Just stock up on a few ingredients for a quick recipe from the “Friends” star. To make it, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 3.5 cups of cooked bulgur porridge,
  • 2 fresh cucumbers,
  • 1 can of chickpeas,
  • 1/2 cup of chopped mint,
  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley,
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios,
  • 1/3 cup chopped red onion,
  • some crumbled feta cheese,
  • juice of 1 lemon,
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil,
  • salt and pepper.

Jennifer Aniston salad – how to prepare it?

The first thing you need to do if you are going to prepare a Jennifer Aniston salad is to cook the grits. This is the longest activity, so you need to do it well in advance. Put the bulgur groats into boiling, lightly salted water and cook on a low burner for about 12-15 minutes, then drain them and let them cool completely. 

The next step is to chop vegetables, nuts and herbs. Dice fresh cucumbers and red onions. Chop pistachios, mint and parsley.

In a large bowl, mix the cooked semolina with the rinsed and drained chickpeas. Add the chopped vegetables and herbs and pistachios.

Then prepare a simple dressing: mix the juice squeezed from a lemon with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour the finished dressing over the salad, then sprinkle the whole thing with crumbled feta cheese.

If you cook and cool bulgur groats beforehand, it should not take you more than 20 minutes to prepare Jennifer Aniston’s famous salad. The salad is not only simple and quick to prepare, but also very tasty. It is definitely worth trying this recipe!
